Transformers Rocks

Madison M. | July 22, 2009 | Comments (2)

Transformers is a movie about a teenage boy named Sam Whitwiki, (played by Shia LaBeouf) who struggles to find his way in the world, unsure of his future. Everything seems unclear until he goes to buy his first car. Looking for anything that has four wheels and moves, his mind is quite open to new things, but what the future holds for him is way past unexpected. Of course in order for the story to progress, he happens to buy the yellow race-like car that ends up being the amazing transformer Autobot, Bumble Bee. Immediately launched into an exciting adventure, Sam must learn the past of the Autobots in order to save their future. As Sam is being educated, and the Autobots begin to adjust to our world, the evil Decepticon, Megatron is melting at a rapid pace.

The Autobots and the Decepticons have been enemies since the beginning of time, so naturally they would fight one another would fight once more once brought back to full strength. But, what do they fight over? Well how the Transformers were originally created may answer your question. They were created by a small object they call "The Cube." It is said that whoever holds possession over "The Cube" has the ultimate power over the Transformers. If the Decepticons were to obtain "The Cube" they would forever destroy the human race, and rule the planet as their own.

The Autobots however, fight along side us, and will do anything in their power to obtain "The Cube." So you ask, what does this great ancient war have to do with a teenage boy? Well, Sam's grandfather possessed the only pair of glasses that allows one to read and understand the inscriptions on "The Cube." As two ancient enemies battle over an ancient war, it is up to Sam to save the human race. Will he?

Personally, I loved the movie. I enjoyed the story yet, it definitely kept me interested. Not only was it enjoyable, but included great scenes of fighting, romance, humor, and many other things. I think it was a great movie and I would see it again in a heartbeat.
